Run for 2017-2019 Board of Advisors
The Board of Advisors represents the Council’s Participating Organizations worldwide to ensure global industry involvement in the development of PCI Security Standards. As strategic partners, they bring market, geographical and technical insight to PCI Council plans and projects. Click here to view the current board.

Please consider nominating your company for a seat on the 2017-2019 PCI Security Standards Council Board of Advisors. The nomination period will run from 23 January to 27 February. All Participating Organizations in good standing are eligible to nominate themselves via the Participating Organization portal, including organizations that have previously served any number of terms.

At the close of the nomination period, Board members are selected through a Participating Organization election and by a limited appointment process. Elected seats are available in the following categories; merchant (6), financial institution (3), processor (3), vendor (3), association/nonprofit (3).

Serving on the Board of Advisors is a two-year commitment with three in-person meetings of two days each, held in major cities around the world. Please stay tuned to the PCI Monitor for more information on the nominations and election process. In the meantime, contact secretariat@pcisecuritystandards.org with any questions.

Instructor-led PCIP class
New for 2017 - we are holding an instructor-led PCI Professional (PCIP) class in Cape Town just ahead of the Middle East & Africa Forum. Join over 2,500 of your colleagues who have already become PCIPs; when you do, you can show off your professional status since you’ll be listed on the PCI website! Don’t be an easy target for criminals – learn to secure your data from the people who wrote the standard. Come to Cape Town in March.
