The PIN Security Requirement 18-3 Key Blocks Information Supplement provides a series of FAQs to help PIN acquiring entities with implementation of key blocks in accordance with requirement 18-3 in the PCI PIN Security Requirements v3.1.

The updated supplement incorporates the revised effective dates for key block implementations that were previously announced in July 2020 and incorporated into [PCI PIN Security Requirements 3.1](https://blog.pcisecuritystandards.org/just-released-version-3-1-of-the-pci-pin-security-standard). The revision of these dates was in response to stakeholder feedback about the impact COVID-19 had on implementation efforts.
